What Does CCIM Mean
We are asked what "CCIM" means after a broker's name. The "Certified Commercial Investment Member" (CCIM) is the professional designation awarded to qualifying members of the CCIM Institute of the National Association of Realtors. A CCIM is a recognized expert in the diciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Only 6% of the 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners in the US hold the CCIM designation. Through the CCIM network, approximately 156,000 transactions with a value of more than $400 billion are completed annually.
